Creative ConsultanT

Working closing with a team of Creative Directors, I developed concepts, and wrote copy for film, print, and digital campaigns for Fortune 500 companies launched across India via W+K's office in New Delhi.

A/D/O

July, 2017 - Present

WORKSPACE CONSULTANT

I joined the team at A/D/O to develop and implement strategy to relaunch the A/D/O workplace program and cultivate a dynamic design community and vibrant work environment.

Working closely with Guest Services, Operations, and Marketing, I directly pinpointed opportunities and collaborated across divisions. After auditing their current offerings and branding, I delivered new digital and print collateral. I also advised on their back-end structure of lead capture and prospective workspace member outreach.

Furthermore, I designed a layout and mapping of the workspace considering per person square footage, pricing for various membership levels, and specific furnishings with consideration to dedicated, shared, and open space.

Beyond additional consulting with regards to marketing campaigns and initiatives, I tapped into my personal network and introduced reps from CitiBike and The New York Times to discuss partnerships and collaborative opportunities.

All of these initiatives proved successful through a surge of inquiries, new and additional members, as well as increased revenue.

DOBBIN ST

May, 2016 - February, 2017

Marketing consultant, publicist & CULTURAL PROGRAM curator

Working directly with the owner and operations team, I developed and executed a marketing and publicity plan for the launch of this new wedding and events space in Brooklyn.

With a combined approach of targeted outreach to wedding industry influencers and locally focused cultural programming, I helped put Dobbin St on the map as both a high-end events venue and valued community outpost hosting sold-out film screenings and invite-only rooftop dinner parties.

Through my work, I placed Dobbin St in relevant NYC publications including Time Out, Bedford + Bowery, FreeWilliamsburg, and Greenpointers.

Director of Marketing & Content

As marketing and operations consultant, I developed and executed comprehensive marketing and branding strategies across all aspects of the business to increase awareness and revenue.

In an effort to showcase the talent and diversity of the membership, I wrote and published lengthy, polished profiles on NYSF members and staff at BushwickDaily.com, which immediately increased brand awareness as tracked by web traffic and new member inquiries.

As a content producer, I managed all communications and branding from NYSF including the company website, weekly email newsletter, social media profiles, and internal messaging. Furthermore, I designed a fully-fledged printed newspaper featuring all original content, available for free through branded distribution bins in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I also designed updates and cohesive branding for company logos, signage, and decor as well as NYSF merchandise.

On behalf of NYSF, I instituted local and national partnerships and hosted public events with businesses including House of Yes, KCBC, Moog Music, Moleskine, and the Braven Brewing Company.

WORKVILLE NYC

Brand strategist & Content Marketing

Working directly with the ownership and management team, I offered consultation in regards to company branding, industry positioning, and public messaging, including website UX and content.

As a content producer, I wrote and published twice weekly blog posts featuring member profiles and covering relevant tech and innovation topics. Managing their social media and advertising budgets, I then amplified this content to targeted audiences in New York City.

In the summer of 2017 I advised on targeted initiatives leading up to the company’s expansion, doubling in size and revenue.

The Yard

March, 2012 - March, 2016

Director of Marketing & Content

During my four-year tenure at The Yard, as the company’s first hire, I contributed to the staggering growth of the company, launching five new NYC locations.

I developed and executed marketing strategies across the entire business as well as locally focused initiatives targeting specific communities including advertising campaigns, operations strategy, hosted events, and corporate partnerships with companies like Samsung, Macy's, Moleskine, JustWorks, SoulCycle, Brooklyn Brewery, the Food Book Fair, the Northside Festival, and The New York Times.

As the sole manager of all digital properties, including the website, email newsletter, social media accounts, and internal messaging, I produced and published content for an audience of over 10,000 readers.

I also designed company merchandise and working closely with The Yard’s architect and design team, I curated and coordinated dozens of rotating and permanent art exhibitions across various locations.

As the spokesman for The Yard, I gave interviews to CNBC’s Nightly Business Report, DNAinfo, Entrepreneur, The Observer, and The New York Times.

NORTHSIDE FESTIVAL

April, 2012 - July, 2013

Program curator & Impresario

For two years I worked as cretative consultant for the annual Northside Festival, celebrating the best of music, film, art and innovation through seven days and nights across dozens of venues in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

I booked music showcases at venues like The Music Hall of Williamsburg and Shea Stadium and programmed lectures and panel discussions at The Brooklyn Brewery and The Wythe Hotel with participants including the CEOs of OK Cupid and Uber, as well as other startups and national publications.

I produced and facilitated daily content at BenettonTalk.com, the company's global rights platform. Working with a team of international writers, headquartered at FABRICA, just outside of Treviso, Italy.

While at Benetton, I exhibited video works as part of a traveling exhibition, "Les Yeux Overts" that premiered at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France. I also published original writing at Fab Magazine and COLORS Magazine.
